The article study looks at banks in the gulf cooperation and its financial performance related to cybersecurity practices. It looked at the number of clients and what happens with their trust after security breaches. This showed that the better the cybersecurity, the more clients the bank gained. The article stated that the covid 19 pandemic transformed the need for more digital integration to help with social distancing, which made cybersecurity crucial to keep the public's trust.

This shows the importance and relationship of cybersecurity and how it contributes to performance economics of a company.

The article looked at applying quantitative methodology to 261 employees across different departments in production companies. The goal was to research the organizational and psychological determinants that affect employees' cybersecurity. In order to fight data breaches, phishing emails, and ransomware, you need more than just hardware defenses and need to also include the human aspect. The research looked at how organizational culture affects compliance with information security policies. Also looked at the effectiveness of trust in top management. This looked at organizations that embrace psychology based training modules. Also looked at organizational leadership culture with an open communication and accountability.

This research looks at the behavior and culture of a workplace and how it effects cybersecurity

The article looked at psychological traits and behavioral patterns of cybercriminals. Using case studies and what was learned from them. Noting that cyber security incidents share several common factors  and differences in threats and complexity. These crimes account for financial losses, psychological distress, social, and organizational consequences.  The article points out the need to expand legal frameworks and policies as new technologies come up the continued need for research and development to bridge current gaps.

Sufyan Ghaleb, Mohanad Mohammed. Sattarov, Abdisamat. (2025). Perceived Security Risks and Cybersecurity Compliance Attitude: Role of Personality Traits and Cybersecurity Behavior. International Journal of Cyber Criminology, 19(1), 1-27

The article researched how the big five personality traits affect employee cybersecurity. The article used sample of 259 worker and anayzed using structural equation modeling. The date collected showed that all aspects of the Big Five model have a strong impact on the persons online behaviors and willingness to follow cybersecurity procedures. The Big Five personality traits are agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, neuroticism, and openness. Companies are able to use personality test to change information security policy and behavioral intervention to suit employees.
